The role

Paris

Salary expected between 140K and 160K€/year, depending on experience

Face-to-face or hybrid (2-3 remote days per week depending of your client)

Great professional english required

Fluent french

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership and Business Integration:
  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for the engineering department that aligns with the company's business goals.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the engineering team and other business units, ensuring clear communication and alignment on objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making within the engineering team.
• Data-Driven Technology Development:
  • Lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions that enhance business operations and product offerings.
  • Ensure the deployment of efficient, scalable, and reliable technology assets.
  • Promote the use of data analytics and machine learning to inform decision-making and improve product development.
• Team Management and Development:
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team.
  • Promote a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and accountability.
  • Identify skill gaps in the team and oversee recruitment and training initiatives to address these needs.
• Operational Excellence and Efficiency:
  • Implement best practices for software development, quality assurance, and system architecture.
  • Oversee project management, ensuring timely delivery of projects within budget.
  • Continuously assess and improve the efficiency of engineering processes and workflows.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with an MBA preferred.
