Job Overview
At TechBiz Global, a recruitment service provider, we are seeking a VP/AVP – Business Development to join a client team. The role is ideal for a seasoned consulting professional who combines deep industry expertise, strong client relationships, and the ability to translate business opportunities into tailored digital transformation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Management: Manage and grow enterprise accounts valued between $5M–$15M annually, serve as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, and ensure account health and continuous value delivery.
- Relationship & Network Development: Leverage professional network and industry connections to identify partnership opportunities, engage non-core IT industry clients such as FinTech, Insurance, Energy, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, and Hi-Tech.
- Solution Consulting & Business Alignment: Co‑create transformation roadmaps with clients, collaborate with delivery, technology, and consulting teams to design customized, outcome‑driven solutions, and match “skills to needs” precisely.
- Market & Industry Expertise: Bring strong domain specialization in one or more industries and stay ahead of emerging trends to advise clients credibly on transformation strategies.
- Growth Enablement & Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to enhance go‑to‑market positioning, identify expansion and cross‑sell opportunities, and contribute to strategic planning.
Qualifications
- 15+ years in IT consulting or technology services, with at least 5 years in a senior account management or client partner role in Europe.
- Proven experience managing enterprise accounts in the $5M–$15M range.
- Deep expertise in one or more domains such as FinTech, Insurance, Energy, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, or Hi-Tech.
- Previous experience in a leading consulting or IT services firm with exposure to complex, multi‑stakeholder engagements.
- Strong record of working onsite with clients and acting as a strategic liaison between business and delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- Flexibility to travel across Europe as needed for client engagement.
