Challenge Overview

Lead and drive the Accor Architecture Hub, structured around 4 complementary pillars (Business Architecture, Application Architecture, Tech Architecture, and Architecture Insight), to ensure alignment between the group's digital ambitions and technical realities. Act as an enabler and facilitator to accelerate team delivery, reduce friction, and secure architectural decision‑making. Lead and nurture the architect community.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the 4 teams of the Architecture Hub (Business, Application, Tech, and Insight), coordinating their efforts to ensure a cohesive and cross‑functional architectural vision.
  • Foster and animate the group‑wide architect community (Architecture Fellowship).
  • Oversee capacity planning and resource allocation for the entire hub.
  • Synchronize business ambitions with technical realities through an end‑to‑end collaboration loop.
  • Develop capability maps and portfolio views to prioritize investments and drive strategic decision‑making.
  • Define 1, 3, and 5‑year master plans (roadmaps) across business verticals, deriving the corresponding application and technical master plans.
  • Position the Architecture Hub as a delivery accelerator: provide reusable patterns, reference architectures, rapid design checkpoints, and cross‑team alignment rituals to reduce redundant work and prevent late‑stage project risks.
  • Define decision‑making principles (distinguishing between guided vs. arbitrated processes), manage escalations, and handle trade‑off resolutions.
  • Clarify decision‑making authority (who decides what, how, and when) between the Architecture Hub, delivery teams, and sponsors.
  • Manage the LeanIX platform and optimize its usage across the organization.
  • Ensure governance and architectural decision‑making align with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
