Voice & Audio Software Engineer

NXP is a leader in Voice technologies for wearables. With the smart glasses market rapidly evolving, the Voice & Audio team is focused on capturing this growth by developing state‑of‑the‑art algorithms tailored to key customers in the wearable.

We are looking for a Voice software Engineer to join our Voice & Audio team. The role involves integrating and deploying real‑time voice and audio algorithms for noise reduction, echo cancellation and music playback. The successful candidate will contribute to advance voice interaction and audio playback capabilities in next‑generation wearable devices, including smart glasses.

Your Responsibilities

• Integrate signal processing and AI algorithms for speech enhancement and music
• Deploy Voice & Audio software solution in real‑world acoustic environments
• Deploy Voice & Audio software solution into NXP Software development kit for customer enablement
• Maintain and support existing NXP Voice & Audio solutions
• Develop and maintain PC software tools used for tuning our software solution on embedded devices
• Elaborate acoustic metrics signal into the current embedded audio software solution to interact with the PC tool
• Maintain high quality UI/UX for PC software tools

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in computer science engineering or electronic engineering
• Background in digital signal processing and speech processing fundamentals
• Programming skills in C / Python. C# is a plus
• Knowledge of embedded systems and real‑time processing constraints
• Good problem solving skills, attention to details and customer feedbacks
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively in English
• Experience in developing Graphical PC tool is a nice to have
• Experience in embedded audio framework is a nice to have
