Visual Merchandising Manager
Overview
Job Introduction This is a newly created role, reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement local permanent Store Design and Visual Merchandising strategy aligned with brand and Global guidelines.
- Oversee end to end management of VM & permanent store designs projects from creative brief through to delivery, ensuring on-time, in-full and on-budget execution.
- Create VM solutions to optimise product visibility for permanent VM existing & permanent VM for store openings.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for store/permanent builds, display materials and installations. Ensure these are to our luxury standards, within budget and timely, managing external stakeholders consistent with contractual agreements.
- Liaise with Sales, Marketing and Education to best support product launches and marketing campaigns with tailored visual executions.
- Educate store teams on visual standards and merchandising techniques.
- Analyse and regularly report on sales data to evaluate the impact of rebuilds and visual merchandising efforts.
- Support Marketing Manager & Senior Consumer Engagement Manager with store design projects including pop-ups and events.
- Design and execute visual displays and planograms for product ranges.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support promotional activities.
- Conduct regular store visits to audit visual standards and provide coaching on visual merchandising.
- Agree and manage budgets on VM for new store openings, renovations, visual merchandising materials and installations, always ensuring each project is delivered on a timely basis and within budget.
- Research industry trends and competitor strategies to inform design decisions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for all installations and propose/agree with Manager on updates as the regulations change.
- Own Capex and VM Budget providing accurate forecasting, reporting and cost control.
The Perfect Candidate
We are looking for a creative & commercially driven Store Design & Visual Merchandising Manager to lead Erborian UK permanent Store Design and promotional VM strategy. As VM Manager you will translate the global vision into locally relevant & commercially impactful executions across store design & temporary VM & POS. The VM Manager will be responsible for the successful implementation of Erborian permanent & promotional VM strategy. You will deliver innovative and best in class launches, fixtures and unique in store experiences on time in full and within budget.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years Proven experience in a related role within luxury retail, preferably in skincare/beauty.
- Experience in managing Capex & VM Budget.
- Strong proven project management and budget handling/management skills.
- Creative flair with a deep understanding of customer behaviours.
- Ability to travel across the UK/Ireland and simultaneously manage multiple store projects.
- Strong creative and design skills with commercial awareness, combined with the ability to influence and manage external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp).
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- A passion for excellence in execution, the industry and role.
