Recruiting & Staffing Coordinator

This role works closely with the VIE Program Manager and serves as the primary point of contact for SLB Management and the VIE Community throughout their mission, maintaining continuous liaison with Business France to ensure compliance with all rules and occasionally negotiating benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate VIE program details to SLB Management, clarify VIE status, rights and duties of VIEs and managers, onboarding process, VIE mission roadmap, etc.
  • Coordinate VIE offer posting and recruitment forums (digital and presential).
  • Coordinate the hiring process for new recruits, including informing all internal and external stakeholders of actions required (travel, relocation, effective start date, security clearances, visa coordination).
  • Act as the first point of contact for VIEs.
  • Run VIE survey sent to VIEs and VIE Managers.
  • Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines and relevant legislation.

Process Automation

This assignment includes supporting the VIE Team with optimizing and automating internal processes from posting offers to end of VIE mission, with a focus on automation and digital enablement. The coordinator will be required to use Microsoft 365 tools, analyze existing processes, define automation needs, and implement suitable solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and simplify day‑to‑day operations.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of Power Apps, Power BI, and process design, and will be responsible for the automation of VIE-related processes.

  • Analyze and map existing VIE administrative processes (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, employee data updates, document management).
  • Identify pain points and propose improvements or automation opportunities.
  • Design and implement automated workflows using Microsoft tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Support the team in digitalizing manual tasks and simplifying internal procedures.
  • Maintain HR dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI, Excel) to track key HR indicators.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality across all HR systems and tools.

Diverse Projects and Community Engagement Initiatives

In addition to core responsibilities, the coordinator will engage in projects such as conducting a benchmark study with other companies running VIE programs, organizing events for the VIE Community to mark key milestones, and contributing new ideas and vision to strengthen the program’s presence, engagement, and strategic alignment.
