Vice President Procurement - aircraft leasing

Provide guidance on new aircraft configuration through research of aircraft configuration trends and airline customer requirements

Lead configuration planning for new aircraft orders, ensuring flexibility and commercial viability.

Support commercial team with configuration analysis & accurate equipment cost estimations

Engage with potential lessees to define specific configuration requirements.

Participate in airline LOI/LA negotiations on configuration-related clauses.

Manage SCN procurement

Collaborate with the team to control BFE procurement costs

Lead BFE and related negotiations, track contract performance and manage execution risks.

Manage purchase orders (POs) for BFE items, track production schedules, identify and elevate delay risks, and implement risk‑mitigation actions to ensure on‑time and on‑quality delivery.

Build and sustain strong business relationships with BFE OEMs and vendors

Collaborate with core OEMs/vendors to implement innovative cooperation models that produce tangible commercial value.

Required Experience

7+ years of progressive experience in aircraft procurement, customisation, specification and new aircraft configuration management, with a proven track record in negotiating OEM and vendor contracts.

Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

Deep understanding of aircraft customisation processes and aircraft leasing industry practices.

Analytical mindset with ability to perform cost/benefit analysis.

Project management capability, with experience in milestone tracking and risk mitigation.

Fluent English; additional languages an advantage.
