George Thomas Executive Search is exclusively retained by a leading international cardiology device company to identify an outstanding HR leader for a pivotal global role. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic organization at a key moment of strategic growth, supporting the expanded portfolios of Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) and Structural Heart.

As the VP, Global HR and Communications, you will partner directly with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team. Your mission is to shape and deliver an integrated HR strategy that accelerates business growth and fosters a high-performance, diverse, and inclusive culture across all markets, with a particular focus on emerging economies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global HR and talent management strategy aligned with business performance goals and long-term expansion targets.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing global HR team, collaborating closely with headquarters, and drive excellence in talent acquisition, development, and retention.
• Build and strengthen the global employer brand, ensuring attraction and engagement of top commercial and functional talent worldwide.
• Oversee all aspects of people strategies, including performance management, incentive policies, headcount planning, and resource efficiency for each region.
• Champion diversity, inclusion, and culture-building initiatives to embed a sustainable high-performance environment.
• Provide strategic, data-driven HR insights to the executive team and Board of Directors.
• Navigate complex stakeholder relationships within a matrixed, international environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Human Resources, Business Management, or similar.
• 10+ years in senior HR leadership, including at least 5 years in the healthcare sector.
• Proven success leading Global HR teams, preferably in medical devices and with a workforce of 1,000+ employees.
