About the Opportunity

A leading international investment banking platform is seeking a Vice President to support the continued growth of its Healthcare Investment Banking franchise in Paris.

The team advises a broad range of healthcare clients across sectors including biopharma, medical technology, healthcare services, diagnostics and life sciences. The platform delivers strategic advice on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets transactions, private placements, growth financings and other strategic corporate finance assignments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced investment banking professional looking to combine hands-on execution responsibilities with meaningful client exposure and business development activity within a highly entrepreneurial environment.

The Role

The Vice President will assume significant responsibility from day one, acting as a key point of contact for clients and transaction stakeholders while working closely with senior bankers on both execution and origination initiatives.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading transaction execution across M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory mandates
• Supporting origination efforts through client coverage, relationship development and marketing initiatives
• Managing the preparation of marketing materials, financial analyses, valuation work and transaction documentation
• Coordinating junior team members throughout the deal process and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work
• Participating in client meetings with senior executives, including CEOs, CFOs and corporate development leaders
• Overseeing due diligence processes and transaction workstreams
• Mentoring and developing Associates and Analysts
• Contributing to the continued expansion and market positioning of the Healthcare franchise

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess a strong academic background from a leading university, business school or engineering institution and have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory or a related corporate finance environment.

Key requirements include:

• Demonstrated ability to manage transactions with a high degree of autonomy
• Experience interacting directly with senior corporate executives and clients
• Strong understanding of the healthcare sector, including areas such as biotechnology, medical technology, healthcare services or life sciences
• Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Excellent project management, prioritisation and organisational skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills in both French and English
