Vice President, Global Innovation (m/f/d) - Care & Wellness

Your role

As a key member of the divisional leadership team, this role is responsible for shaping and executing a forward‑looking, science‑driven innovation agenda that translates strategic vision into a robust pipeline of consumer‑relevant, high‑impact solutions across beauty, health and integrated in+out applications.

• Define and lead the global innovation strategy for the new division, translating strategic ambition into clear innovation roadmaps, priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee the end to end innovation pipeline , from ideation and formulation through clinical validation, regulatory approval and global commercialization.
• Drive scientific excellence and consumer relevance , ensuring robust claims substantiation, clinical rigor and alignment with evolving customer and market needs.
• Build and expand a global innovation ecosystem , including partnerships with academic institutions, CROs, start ups and technology providers to accelerate access to emerging science.
• Strengthen intellectual property and regulatory positioning , working closely with legal and regulatory teams to protect innovation outcomes and ensure international compliance.
• Develop and lead high performing global innovation teams , embedding agile ways of working, cross functional collaboration and a culture of creativity and accountability.
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership , translating complex scientific and technological insights into clear, actionable business recommendations.

About you

• Advanced academic degree (PhD or MSc) in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dermatology or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
• At least 10 years of senior leadership experience in innovation, R&D or product development within consumer health, beauty, life sciences or adjacent regulated industries
• Proven track record of delivering breakthrough innovations, from concept to market, in complex and highly regulated environments
• Demonstrated experience leading global, cross functional teams and managing substantial innovation portfolios with clear commercial impact
• Deep scientific expertise in formulation science, clinical development, microbiome or related domains relevant to topical and ingestible applications
• Strong understanding of IP strategy and regulatory frameworks, including international standards across cosmetics, health and biotech
• Strategic and visionary leadership style, combining long term thinking with strong execution discipline
• Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to engage credibly at executive, scientific and external partner levels
• Change oriented, agile mindset, comfortable operating in ambiguity and building capabilities in a newly formed global organization
