Req ID:
At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.
The Vibroacoustic engineer will act in the context of product development and R&D activities.
Responsibilities
Project Engineering Responsibilities
- Apply the Vibroacoustic Engineering Instructions and guidelines to perform project/offers tasks.
- Perform the vibroacoustic analysis of tenders by comparison with referent solutions and previous projects.
- Prepare the vibroacoustic specifications and Vibroacoustic Management Plan (VAMP) to be applied in projects.
- Allocate the different noise sources and train assemblies through the use of Alstom standard methodologies for rolling stock and components.
- Perform and post‑process standard vibroacoustics tests and report to validate prediction models and type tests.
- Perform standard vibroacoustic simulations for exterior noise, interior noise, and components.
- Liaise with the Discipline Leader to validate Management Plan, allocations and risks.
- Capture the vibroacoustic REX of projects through the use of AT vibroacoustic databases.
