Vessel operation engineer Lead
We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Vessel Operations Engineer to join a major offshore construction project.
As part of the Operations team, you will be responsible for the preparation, coordination and execution of offshore vessel activities throughout the engineering and project execution phases. You will interface with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and offshore assets to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Your responsibilities
- Lead vessel operations engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate offshore operational preparations and execution.
- Review engineering deliverables, procedures and method statements.
- Prepare technical documentation, requisitions and scopes of work.
- Interface with engineering disciplines, project management and subcontractors.
- Participate in risk assessments and operational reviews.
- Ensure safe, efficient and compliant offshore operations.
Specific scope – MSV
You will act as the Lead VOE for the MSV (Multi Support Vessel) scope , taking ownership of all engineering and operational activities related to the support vessel during offshore construction campaigns.
Specific scope – Transportation & Loadout
You will act as the Lead VOE for the Transportation & Loadout scope , leading all engineering and operational activities related to transportation, loadout, heavy lift preparation and offshore execution.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years' experience in offshore construction projects.
- Previous experience as Vessel Operations Engineer, Marine Operations Engineer or Installation Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of offshore installation activities.
- Fluent English (French is a plus).
- Valid BOSIET & Medical Certificate preferred.
- Ability to work from the office on a regular basis (no full remote).
- Experience in Transportation & Loadout operations is highly desirable.
