Venture Capital Manager / Principal

We are partnering with an established venture capital platform seeking to hire a Manager / Principal to join its investment team in Paris.

This is an opportunity to play a key role across the full investment lifecycle, working closely with founders of high-growth businesses across Europe. The team invests across multiple sectors, with particular interest in technology-enabled consumer, digital platforms and emerging growth companies.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess investment opportunities across European venture ecosystems
• Build and maintain relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, advisors and investors
• Lead commercial, financial and market due diligence processes
• Develop investment theses and present recommendations to internal decision-makers
• Conduct financial analysis, valuation work and transaction execution activities
• Support portfolio companies through strategic initiatives, fundraising processes and business development opportunities
• Monitor portfolio performance and prepare investment updates for internal and external stakeholders
• Represent the fund at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities
