We’re looking for our first hire! An Investment Director passionate about gaming with solid early-stage investment experience.

PixCapital is a specialized VC fund focused on the gaming industry. We look for hidden gems that mix creativity and exceptionally efficient operations to punch above their weight, with a particular interest in new gaming scenes and rising territories. From our Parisian headquarters, we invest globally, backing ambitious founders across the entire gaming value chain—from awe-inspiring content and IP to innovative tech tools, platforms, and thriving ecosystems. Beyond our investor role, we’re early believers, leading deals and fueling creative ambition with capital and expertise. As we scale our impact, we’re on the hunt for a sharp Investment Director who lives and breathes gaming to join our team and help us shape the future of play.

What you’ll do

• Identify, analyze, and select high-potential investment opportunities in innovative gaming startups.
• Perform rigorous due diligence, including market analysis, financial modeling, and founder assessments.
• Negotiate investment terms and lead deal structuring.
• Actively support portfolio companies with growth strategies, secondary fundraising, and governance, among others.
• Represent PixCapital at industry events—whether it’s on stage at conferences or over drinks at meetups.

Who you are

• 5 to 8 years experience in venture capital, private equity, strategy consulting, or within a tech company (ideally in gaming or creative industries).
• Strong track record in early-stage investments from entry to exit (this is essential – please refrain from applying without).
• Solid understanding of video game business models and ecosystem dynamics.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to cut through complexity and spot the big opportunities.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual in English, both spoken and written. French a plus.
