574 Invest is the SNCF Group’s venture capital investment fund, investing in the fields of mobility, industry 4.0 and climate tech in Series A/B – in Europe and primarily in France.

The position is based at the SNCF Group headquarters, on the Etoiles Campus in St-Denis.

The intern will report to the investment team. They will be involved in all aspects of 574 Invest’s operations and will help develop its business.

MISSIONS

Identification & analysis of investment opportunities

• Dealflow management: monitoring and qualification of incoming start-up files, management of the dealflow steering tool
• Sourcing & screening: identification of investment opportunities in line with 574 Invest’s investment thesis, pre-selection of files
• Participation in the instruction and execution of investment files

Production of strategic studies & market overviews

• Conducting market studies on sectors or technologies of interest to 574 Invest
• Monitoring trends and monitoring market news

Communication management

• Content management and development for social networks and the 574 Invest website
• Participation in ecosystem events

SKILLS

• Master’s student (business / engineering / Sciences Po)
• Curiosity, autonomy and willingness to take initiatives
• Analytical and synthesis skills
• Communication skills and adaptability
• Interest in the start-up ecosystem and our investment themes (mobility, climate tech and industry 4.0)
• A first experience in the VC or CVC / Private Equity / Start-up ecosystem
• Fluent in French and English
