Why this role is important
The Alternatives Value Advisory (Presales) position contributes to sales cases with existing and prospective clients by providing business and solution expertise to meet revenue targets and expand SimCorp’s profile.
What you will be responsible for
- Understand SimCorp’s Alternative Investment solution and convey its value proposition with clarity and precision.
- Engage in early‑stage discovery with prospects and clients to identify pain points, define solution scope, and frame SimCorp’s unique value.
- Translate complex product capabilities—such as waterfalls, investor relations, analytics, forecasting, accounting, and document processing—into compelling business outcomes for GP and LP stakeholders.
- Keep demo environments up to date with the latest enhancements and communicate innovations effectively.
- Configure and deliver tailored demos and proof‑of‑concepts (POCs), often using real client data, to showcase how the solution addresses specific pain points.
- Own RFPs and RFIs by articulating how SimCorp’s solutions meet technical and operational requirements for complex asset classes.
What we value
- Domain expertise in Alternatives: deep knowledge of private markets (equity, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds, private debt, non‑conforming classes) and 10+ years in presales or implementation specializing in Alternative Investments.
- Exceptional demo and presentation skills: ability to deliver compelling, tailored demonstrations that translate technical capabilities into business value.
- Consultative communication style: strong written and verbal skills, engaging stakeholders across business, operations, and IT.
- Experience in discovery workshops and RFP support.
- Structured, methodical approach: systematic mindset for managing complex solutioning processes from scoping to delivery.
- A bold, challenger mindset—unafraid to question conventional thinking and advocate for transformative solutions.
