V&V Solution Architect (d/f/m)
Job Description
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a V&V solution architect (m/f) to join our Flight Test and Avionics (DPSF) department based in Toulouse.
As part of the Flight Test and Avionics Team, you will join the Aircraft and Electrical System Product Service Line in charge of developing and maintaining solutions for Flight Test and Avionics. The organization delivers a single & harmonized set of IS/IT tools for the development of aircraft, helicopters or defense products, its industrial set‑up, support and services, non‑recurring & recurring aspects included. It ensures the development and support of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) solutions in a context of Airbus Group Process, Method and Tools strategy. The scope is linked to Digital Integrated Processes (authoring), Engineering Processes, part of the Engineering View.

Your challenges
- Drive the E2E PLM Portfolio roadmap as an Enterprise / Functional Architect to define IS convergence strategies for Large Solutions.
- Design and communicate a shared technical vision while building the Architectural Runway to sustain long‑term business value.
- Partner with Solution Train Engineers and Product Management to steer the operational delivery of the Large Solution.
- Coordinate across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to ensure seamless system integration and technical alignment.
- Lead architecture boards and facilitate key SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, to govern technical standards.
- Secure project milestones by providing deep functional expertise and contributing to strategic roadmap definitions.
- Manage supplier team performance, providing the leadership and monitoring necessary to scale architectural activities.
Your boarding pass
- At least 5 years of experience in Business IT projects.
- Proven experience in Software Architecture and Development; ideally experience with PLM, Digital, Flight Test and/or Avionics.
- Strong knowledge of Design, Engineering, and Digital Processes.
- Good communication skills.
- Customer and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced level of French and English.
