Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday – Friday; No call or weekends; 40 hours per week (35 hours of patient care)
Location & Setting
- Charlotte – office located on campus of Atrium Health Mercy Hospital
- Outpatient
Responsibilities (Scope of Practice)
- Clinical Care
- Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations with a focus on pelvic floor disorders
- Diagnose and manage urinary incontinence (stress, urge, mixed), pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, and bowel dysfunction
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including conservative, medical, and surgical treatment options
- Provide patient education on pelvic health, lifestyle modification, and surgical treatment options
- Perform office-based procedures such as: pessee fitting and management, PTNS (Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation), bladder catheterization
- Participate in perioperative care including pre-op evaluation and post-op follow-up
Team & Support Structure
- Team composed of 3 MDs, 7 APPs
- Collaborative model supporting a high-volume surgical practice
- Onboarding/training support provided by numerous MDs, APPs and Chief APP as well as the Center for Advanced Practice

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Current state licensure and board certification (PA-C or NP)
- DEA licensure (or eligibility)
- Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred; women’s health, urology, gynecology, or surgical experience strongly desirable
