Your mission

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven UK Account Manager to join our expanding team. The UK Account Manager will play a pivotal role in managing, growing, and retaining key client relationships in the telecommunications industry, focusing on maximising the value of existing Transatel partnerships.

The successful candidate will have a passion for mobile technology, a deep understanding of the UK business landscape, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term account success through proactive account management and strategic engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a portfolio of UK-based clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all commercial and operational matters.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within client organisations.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, including upsell, cross-sell, and expansion into new use cases or products.
  • Develop and execute account plans to maximise revenue, retention, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor account performance against KPIs, proactively addressing risks and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Lead regular business reviews with clients, providing insights on performance, usage trends, and optimisation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, operations, marketing, and support) to ensure successful delivery of services and resolution of issues.
  • Support contract renewals and commercial discussions, ensuring continued alignment between client needs and Transatel offerings.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, feeding back market insights and client requirements to support product and service evolution.
  • Provide regular updates on account status, risks, opportunities, and revenue forecasts to management.

It is anticipated that there will be an initial period of training where the individual learns about us, our technology, and our products. However, you will be expected to quickly develop into a UK market expert with a detailed understanding of your accounts, their business models, and their strategic priorities.

This position is based in Paris (La Défense) with regular travel to the UK.

Your profile

  • University graduate with proven experience (minimum 3 years) in Account Management or a similar client-facing role
  • Preferred experience in Telecommunications, IT, or digital services
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Commercially minded, with experience identifying and delivering revenue growth within existing accounts
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated success in retaining and growing client relationships
  • Fluency in English mandatory and French is a plus
