UI/UX Engineer

Responsibilities

• Working model: Hybrid
• Employment type: EOR or Freelance
• Identify and document user personas and end-to-end user journeys across the platform
• Produce wireframes and prototypes in Figma for each persona and journey
• Submit multiple design proposals, iterate based on stakeholder feedback, and drive to approval
• Redesign key UI sections across the Nexus Portal, Data Product Marketplace, and Ingestion Framework
• Refactor and improve user flows for access requests, submission, browsing, search, and governance
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders within an agile delivery model
• Deliver final documentation and handover package at engagement closure

Qualifications

• High proficiency in Figma, including wireframing and interactive prototyping
• Strong experience with user flows, journey mapping, and information architecture
• Solid understanding of responsive/adaptive design for web and mobile
• Familiarity with accessibility best practices and front-end constraints
• Experience working on marketplace products (data or application marketplaces a plus)
• Proven stakeholder management and presentation skills in complex environments
• Familiarity with agile workflows and tools such as Jira and Confluence
