UI Designer / Technologist | Shared Experience
Who will be your team?
The Shared Experience team defines, curates, and evolves the common experience blocks and identity layers that ensure coherence, clarity, and recognizability across all Schneider Electric digital experiences (software, applications, and beyond).
What will be your role?
As a UI Designer , you are responsible for translating the shared experience vision into pixel‑perfect, production‑ready UI definitions.
You apply the UI direction with a high level of craft, while actively contributing to the definition, refinement, and validation of shared experience blocks—the recurring UI structures and interaction models that shape how users interact with Schneider Electric products at scale.
Responsibilities
- Common Experience Design
- Design shared UI patterns, layouts, and interaction models used across products.
- Explore, prototype, and validate concepts addressing cross‑product needs.
- Contribute to the definition of experience principles and usage rules.
- Collaboration & Co‑creation
- Collaborate with project teams to understand their needs and constraints and help them align on their visualizations.
- Facilitate or support workshops to converge on shared solutions.
- Partner with the Design System team to ensure alignment and scalability.
- Quality & Consistency
- Ensure high standards of usability, accessibility, and visual consistency.
- Review and support product teams on the application of shared patterns.
- Contribute to share best practices.
Qualifications
- + 3 years of experience in UI Design
- Strong prototyping skills (Figma, interactive prototypes)
- Solid foundation in UI, motion, and graphic design
- Passion for systemic UI design rather than one‑off screens
- Enjoy working at the intersection of UX, UI, brand, and platform thinking
- Ability to convert concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible visuals for a wide audience
- Experience in front‑end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Comfortable collaborating with many stakeholders
- Strong focus on clarity, usability, and consistency
- Can work both collaboratively and solo
- Fluent in English

- Experience contributing to a design system
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Experience with both B2B and B2C products
