UA Manager - Junior / Alternance (Paris)
Pitch
TapNation is a mobile game publisher specialising in hyper-casual and hybrid-casual games, with over one billion cumulative downloads. Our UA team runs eight-figure annual spend across a live portfolio, and we build our own tooling rather than waiting for platforms to build it for us.
The role
You'll be trained directly by the Head of UA on a portfolio of live titles. In the first months you'll learn the mechanics — campaign structure, creative testing, cohort reading. Within a year the aim is that you own titles of your own and defend your decisions on their numbers.
We are not looking for someone who already knows all of this. We are looking for someone who thinks clearly under uncertainty and wants to get very good, very fast.
What you'll do
Run and iterate campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok and AppLovin under close guidance at first, independently later
Read cohort performance in Looker and learn to tell a real signal from three days of noise
Brief and evaluate ad creatives with the creative team, and build a view on why concepts win
Build the daily reporting and monitoring for your titles
Get progressively handed budget as your judgement proves out
What we need
1–2 years in performance marketing or UA — mobile gaming is a plus, not a requirement. Strong internships count
Comfort with numbers. You can look at a table of CPI and D7 ROAS and say something useful about it. Excel or SQL basics; we'll teach you Looker
Judgement over knowledge. We care much more that you know when not to act than that you know where a button is in Ads Manager
Curiosity that shows up in evidence — something you built, automated, analysed or wrote, however small
Based in or moving to the Paris region
What you get
Direct mentorship from the Head of UA, real budget ownership faster than almost anywhere else, and a front-row seat on a portfolio doing serious volume.
Compensation
CDI: €40,000–€44,000 gross annually. Alternance: statutory scale.
Process
Intro call (15 min) → analytical case (designed to test how you reason, not what you've memorised) → interview with the Head of UA → offer. One to two weeks end to end.
