Truck Driver CDL A Solo

Position Title

Class A CDL Truck Driver – Paris, IL

Compensation & Schedule

• Paid weekly (average $1,694)
• Solo mileage pay: $0.65 per mile (≈1,830 miles per week)
• Solo stops pay: $22.00 per stop (≈15 stops per week)
• Per diem: $35.00 per night (≈5 nights per week)
• Paid training provided
• Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 5:30 am – 4:00 pm dispatch
• Hours per week: ≥50

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years
• Pass Ryder drug test, background and motor‑vehicle check, DOT physical, and Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements; Class A experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle
• Experience: 9 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in past 5 years, or 5 years in past 10 years
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures
