JOB PURPOSE

On the basis of activities assigned by his/her superiors, the treasurer manages cash flow and optimizes the financial profitability of his/her area. He/she ensures that financial risks are properly managed. He/she is responsible for balancingand proper use of bank accounts. He/she is a privileged contact for funding organizations.

SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES

• Record and analyze financial flows (disbursements and receipts) and analyze discrepancies, if any
• Manage bank guarantees, where applicable
• Manage bank authorizations and signatures
• Manage foreign exchange hedging, where appropriate
• Apply and monitor financing strategies defined by the finance department to meet the company's needs
• Define, in collaboration with his/her superiors, and produce indicators for monitoring his/her activity, and alert, if necessary
• Prepare and transmit treasury-related financial reports to internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of its activity (business tools, procedures, etc.)

Internal and external relations

• Be a privileged contact with internal and external stakeholders (funding bodies, auditors, finance department, etc.)
• Manage relations with funding body(ies), where applicable

Financial risks

• Identify and manage financial risks (exchange rate fluctuations, interest rates, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with deadlines and execution of requested disbursements
• Ensure compliance with internal and external compliance rules within its scope, and alert where necessary

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE FOR ACTION

• Guarantee and monitor cash management compliance
• Guarantee financial risk management
• Ensure the quality of data entered into business tools
• Know, apply and enforce internal and external financial, tax and compliance procedures and rules

3 to 5 years' higher education in finance and/or significant experience preferred

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE(S)

• General knowledge of finance (treasury, accounting, etc.)
• General knowledge of IT tools and information systems
• Intermediate level in English (B2)
