Transverse PMTD Architect (f/m) – Airbus Commercial Aircraft
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Transverse PMTD Architect (f/m) to join our Avionics and Simulation department based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a team developing avionics equipment and simulation solutions for the aircraft of today and tomorrow. As part of the 1YY Team, you will be involved in defining and deploying the End‑to‑End PMTD landscape aiming at securing production ramp‑up and readiness for future aircraft generations.

Challenges
- Define the target PMTD functional architecture (data flows, tool interconnections) to meet strategic business needs and domain‑level efficiency.
- Lead the technology roadmap by ensuring alignment with Airbus central drivers and policies (IM, Security, and IT strategies).
- Manage the Domain Data Strategy by defining business and data objects in the central Airbus Data Catalog.
- Drive functional transformation across departments, harmonizing strategies and creating synergies between Engineering and Enterprise Architect communities.
Qualifications
- Strong technical background in software architecture and IT skills applied to industrial environments (SAP, PLM, MES, DevOps).
- Solid knowledge of Agile/SAFe and Waterfall methodologies, including Airbus internal development models (PDP/LBIP).
- Proven experience in large‑scale functional change management and the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Professional proficiency in French and English, essential for high‑level technical coordination and stakeholder management.
