Drive System Design Responsible

Join the Transmission Design & Dynamic Systems Architecture department (ETITD) at Airbus Helicopters Marignane. The role ensures the technical and regulatory integrity of transmission systems across the Airbus Helicopters fleet.

Responsibilities

• Define technical objectives of transmission systems and write specifications.
• Follow detailed design and ensure compliance with performance, manufacturing, assembly and reliability requirements for design changes and new certification.
• Manage activities in accordance with Airbus Helicopters processes (CES, HTech, EP, EI).
• Write flight and bench test requests, provide conclusions, and coordinate test execution.
• Lead certification of transmission systems (document writing, discussions with EASA).
• Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers, including stress analysis, work preparation, quality, production, lab tests, flight tests, project, configuration, airworthiness, and program teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5‑year bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in the aeronautical domain and/or gearbox industry.
• Strong synthesis skills, meticulous and rigorous.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in English, negotiation level in French; German knowledge is a plus.
• Eligible for or able to obtain a security clearance from recognized authorities.
