Transaction Reporting Consultant

We are currently Recruiting for a Global Investment Bank seeking Consultants and Senior Consultants to join a high-profile team delivering Transaction reporting, Data Analytics, and Transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and deliver transaction reporting, data analytics, and transformation initiatives.
• Analyse large datasets and investigate reporting breaks, reconciliations, and data quality issues.
• Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to gather information, identify root causes, and drive issue resolution.
• Translate business requirements into actionable recommendations and data-driven insights.
• Contribute to the adoption of AI, automation, and advanced analytics solutions to enhance reporting processes and operational efficiency.
• Support project delivery and, for more experienced candidates, lead work streams and manage stakeholder communications.

Requirements

• 3–10 years of experience in consulting, business analysis, regulatory reporting, data analytics, or financial services.
• Exposure to regulatory reporting within banking or financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and autonomous approach.
• Comfortable working with large Excel datasets and conducting detailed data investigations.
• Experience with Dataiku and/or data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies, with the ability to identify practical business applications.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to work independently and, for more senior candidates, lead workstreams and drive delivery.

Preferred

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as EMIR, or MiFID.
• Experience in data quality, data governance, reporting transformation, AI initiatives, or advanced analytics projects.
