Job Description

WithintheSunflowerR&Dteam,youcontributetotheTraitIntrogression(TI)strategybydeliveringhigh-levelscientificandtechnologicalexpertise.YourroleisessentialinguidingdecisionswithintheSunflowerTIportfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Planningoffieldnurseries(resources,timelines,protocols),selfinggenerations,hybridcreation,seedtreatmentandqualitycontrol
• Coordinationwithcross-functionalteams(Operations,FieldTrials,Breeding,Planning)
• Seeddeliverytostakeholdersaccordingtoprotocolsandinternaldocumentation
• Ensuringrecording,maintenanceandupdateofallTIprojectsintrackingsystemsandprojectmanagementtools
• Developmentofanalyticalscriptsandautomatedworkflows(Python,R,SQL)toimprovedataflowefficiency,pipelinevisibilityandprocesstraceability

Qualifications

Required:

Education

• Master'sdegreerequired(PhDpreferred)inAgronomy,PlantBreeding/Genetics,CropScienceorrelatedfields
• Programmingskills(Python,R,SQL)appreciated
• Stronganalyticalandsynthesisskills–abilitytoextractkeyinsightsfromlargevolumesofinformation
• Strategicthinking,problem-solvingorientation
• Excellentinterpersonalskillsandabilitytoworkinmultidisciplinaryteams
• Strongwrittenandoralcommunicationskills
