The elevator pitch of the role
Step into the world of olfactive innovation with dsm‑firmenich as a Fine Fragrance Manager Innovation Trainee in our Scent Unit, a team fully dedicated to shaping the future of perfumery. During this 6‑month internship, you will support your mentor in developing breakthrough Fine Fragrance olfactive concepts, explore new creative directions, and contribute to global innovation projects. Your key responsibilities
- Assist your mentor in the development of innovative Fine Fragrance olfactive concepts
- Participate in the processing and analysis of fragrance briefs
- Support fragrance evaluations and expert review committees across categories
- Deepen your understanding of market‑leading Fine Fragrances and industry benchmarks
- Contribute to scientific and innovation projects with R&D teams (test setup, tracking, sensory panel evaluations, etc.)
- Take ownership of selected innovation projects within the global Scent Unit pipeline
- Collaborate with international teams and contribute to globally driven initiatives

You bring
- A Master’s degree in Perfumery or Chemistry or Agronomie (ISIPCA, FESAPCA, ESP, ARPAC, ICAP, AgroParisTech…)
- A strong interest in Fine Fragrance, olfactive innovation, chemistry and AI.
- Curiosity, creativity, and a proactive mindset
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively across teams and functions
- Rigor, organization, and attention to detail
- Fluent English is mandatory for this global role
