Trading EQD Consultant

We are seeking a highly‑motivated Trading EQD Consultant with good knowledge and experience at Front Office side to join our dynamic Equity Derivatives Product Evolution Services Team. You will be charged with supporting a major client upgrade project including issue analysis and binary corrections, mostly on auto‑calls and EQD exotics products with Murex Analytics (MACS) with the following key responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Analyze raised issues, suggest adequate solutions, or follow the related binary corrections, on the equity module scope (including pricing, Murex Analytics, lifecycle, Livebook, performances with the help of dedicated teams).
- Work closely with senior PES consultants that have been working for years on this account, and know in detail the functionalities and products used by the client.
- Hands‑on analysis of issues found by the client team: especially pricing and greeks reconciliation. Murex Analytics experience (MACS) is a plus.
- Assist in building reduced test cases for the binary corrections, and work closely with several development teams to help debug and correct, then test and deliver fixes to the client.
- Become the single point of contact for EQD with the client services team.
- Be in charge of maintaining the prioritized backlog of issues to analyze and correct by bi‑weekly coordination calls with the client services team, and follow up on the progress.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree, preferably from Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Computer Science or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of Murex Front Office experience.
- Solid knowledge of Fixed Income, Equity Derivatives, Pricing and Greeks reconciliation.
- Familiar with SQL scripting (Perl, awk).
- Familiar with financial instruments representation and their lifecycle management.
- Familiar with dynamic table and simulation view.
- Experience gathering and analyzing requirements from users.
- Excellent communication skills, able to handle multiple projects, priorities and manage business expectations.
- Customer driven, able to work within a team environment, and focused on providing a high quality of service to the customer.
- Strong and demonstrable problem‑solving / analytical skills.
