Find out more about our mission to bring health in your hands at ***Purpose of the role*** The role of the Trade & Revenue Manager is to design, develop and implement commercial strategies to support the delivery of commercial plans across channels and customers.
The person on this position creates value through full spectrum of RGM levers (Commercial Policy, Pricing, Pack Price architecture, Customer & Product Mix), achieving positive impact on Net Sales and Profitability. This role ensures effective implementation of commercial policies, pricing strategies, product mix at customer level.
This position collaborates with cross-functional teams such as sales, performance analytics, shopper marketing, and financial business partners, enabling a holistic approach to revenue and sales management. ***Key Accountability*****Commercial Policy**: work with Commercial Team to design optimum Commercial Policy to drive best in class activation of Opella brands across different channels, while meeting GTN targets and maximizing Pay-for-Performance approach. **Pricing:** responsible for the pricing process locally. Ensure to drive price increase leveraging defined pricing strategy (price index vs competitors & pack price architecture). **Promotion:**
- Design a promotional framework for each customer aligned with brand strategy
- Translate brand price positioning into effective promotional activities
- Continuously improve promotional ROI and accelerate sell-out performance
- Identify trade spend inefficiencies and collaborate with Key Account Managers to optimize them
- Monitor channel performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations**Mix:**
- Drive the route-to-market strategy, including channel and customer segmentation
- Define and implement customer commercial conditions in alignment with the Commercial Policy
- Develop efficient incentive strategies across customers and the portfolio**Portfolio optimization / simplification::*** **Brand architecture:** act as the local lead to support marketers to find new pricing / sizing opportunities linked to consumer occasions (small trial pack, big value pack)* **Optimization:** act as the local lead to find portfolio optimization or harmonized pack size across country.* **Innovations:** being part of the local innovation process to define a sustainable and profitable go-to-market approach with the right GTN investment.**Lead Sales Out to Sales In translation** as part of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and collaborate with Country Head to ensure robust Net Sales assumptions.
Lead GTN accrual process and cooperate with internal and external auditors dedicated to Revenue Management.***Requirements:***
- University degree in business / finance / analytics.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in revenue management, commercial and/or finance – ideally a combination of these. FMCG / consumer healthcare. Commercial acumen is key.
- Ability to challenge and drive change. Ability to easily extract insight from data to feed into compelling commercial strategies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team player.
- Strong analytical & data quality controlling skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel; Power BI is a plus.
