Trade Finance Analyst

Mission
Based at headquarters and integrated within the Treasury team of the IST Division at Idemia, the Trade Finance Analyst will be responsible for managing trade finance activities at a global level.
The role includes overseeing bank guarantees and letters of credit, managing trade finance facilities, leading the Division’s factoring program, and supporting treasury reporting.
The position also aims to monitor financial risks in commercial contracts, promote best practices and Group policies, and ensure the use of secure and compliant payment instruments.
Main Responsibilities
Trade Finance
- Coordinate the issuance of bid bonds, performance bonds, and other guarantees (bank or insurance-based)
- Review and adapt guarantee wording in line with internal policies
- Monitor guarantees lifecycle, including amendments and releases
- Liaise with banks, insurers, and brokers
Letters of Credit
- Support negotiation and implementation of import and export letters of credit
- Review and adjust LC wording
- Ensure compliance with Group policies and elevate deviations
- Act as key user for trade finance tools (GTC) and manage access
- Support and train internal stakeholders
- Monitor trade finance facilities with Corporate Treasury
- Track outstanding guarantees and letters of credit
- Prepare KPIs and monthly reporting (Group and regional levels)
Factoring Program
- Take ownership of the Division’s factoring program (Europe & US)
- Produce and enhance monthly reporting
- Contribute to the development and optimization of the program in coordination with Business and Legal teams
- Lead and coordinate annual audits
- Support IT testing and process improvements
Treasury Support
- Contribute to cash reporting
- Maintain and monitor the global bank account database

Profile & Experience
- Master’s/bachelor's degree in finance or related field
- 3 years of experience in finance, treasury, trade finance, or a business-oriented role (e.g., Order-to-Cash, Customer Service)
- Experience in an international environment is strongly preferred
- Fluent in English and French (mandatory)
- Strong international mindset and ability to work in a global environment
- Excellent communication skills, especially oral communication
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence decisions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Interest in developing expertise in treasury and trade finance
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
