Job Overview

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Tooling Specialist (f/m) to join the Tooling team at the St‑Eloi site. The specialist will design, manage, and validate tooling solutions essential for the production and assembly of engine pylons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze the needs of industrialization stakeholders, including plan analysis, production chain pathways, and non‑conformity analysis.
  • Present and validate cost, cycle time and technical solution estimates before any financial commitment.
  • Consolidate and structure input data to make it actionable for tooling suppliers.
  • Draft technical specifications, perform supplier pre‑selection, and negotiate offers.
  • Collaborate with procurement to evaluate and select suppliers for tooling studies and manufacturing.
  • Track project milestones, validate progress, and report status to customers and partners.
  • Analyze tooling studies and recommend improvements considering production processes, environment and resources.
  • Update the integrated business tool in SAP in real‑time.
  • Identify risks, communicate issues, and negotiate industrial impacts such as cost and schedule.
  • Ensure successful industrialization, client satisfaction and functional/documentary compliance.
  • Close the case fully and settle financial transactions.
  • Capitalize knowledge and transfer tooling competencies for series production.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of tooling experience in an aerospace industrial environment, preferably at St‑Eloi.
  • Proficient in CATIA V5, MS Office, SAP and functional dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Strong understanding of ergonomics, safety standards and manufacturing methods (sheet metal, machining, assembly).
  • Project management experience (minimum 5 years).
  • Excellent communication, service orientation, proactivity, and teamwork.
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity.
