We are looking for a Tooling Engineer Intern – Capacity & Performance to join the Capacity & Performance team. The position will be based in Paris, and start in July or September. You will report to the Head of Market and Tools Technology.**You will primarily be responsible for:**
- Designing and implementing simple, user-friendly interfaces (UI, dashboards, tools) to enable users to select input data, choose analysis types and launch AI-driven processing
- Integrating front-end components with existing AI-based analysis logic and orchestrating workflows between UI, scripts and backend processing tools
- Contributing to the automation of analysis workflows and developing scripts to simplify tool execution and usage
- Ensuring tools are easy to use, reliable and reproducible, gathering feedback from users and iterating on improvements
- Providing clear and concise documentation for end users, ensuring deliverables are reusable for future automation phases**Your profile:**
- Strong interest in AI tools, automation and software development
- Experience with VS Code, Python or similar scripting languages
- Basic front-end development skills (e.g. simple web apps, dashboards)
- Ability to design clean and intuitive user workflows
- Familiarity with prompting, large language model (LLM) usage, AI tooling orchestration and integration of AI into applications using MCP protocols
- Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in French or other languages spoken within Euronext markets (Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, etc.) is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of performance analysis, distributed systems or financial systems/market data is a plus
