Responsibilities

• Analyze and distill complex data.
• Perform laboratory experiments and analytical or computational modeling.
• Review and understand experiments and simulations performed by clients.
• Research and parse data from published literature.
• Conduct risk assessments.
• Prepare written reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Manage projects and maintain efficiency under deadlines.
• Perform field inspections, investigations, and experiments.
• Communicate technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, legal, business, and industry.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical, Nuclear, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field with a practical and theoretical understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and combustion.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no immigration sponsorship required.
• Background in data sciences and/or electrical engineering is a plus.
• Outstanding ability to apply fundamental engineering concepts to new problems.
• Hands‑on experience developing and performing laboratory or field experiments in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, or combustion.
• Familiarity with technical documents and equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: USD $140,000.00 – USD $155,000.00 per year. Total compensation includes base salary, bi‑weekly bonuses for high‑intensity efforts, an annual bonus, and a 401(k) employer contribution of 7% of base salary. Benefits information is available on our page.
