Test Means Architect (f/m)
Overview
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Test Means Architect (f/m) to join our Lab Test Means department based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing the next generation of Ground Test Means. As part of the Lab Test Means team, you will be involved in defining power architectures aiming at ensuring current and future aircraft are safer, smarter, and greener.
Responsibilities
- Translate testing needs into high-performance technical power architecture solutions.
- Identify obsolete equipment, specify next-generation hardware, and follow its development from end to end.
- Define complex power distribution architectures complying with ground testing regulations.
- Support electrical designers in creating the wiring and harnesses that bring your architecture to life.
- Verify and validate installations directly with the testers to ensure flawless performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical power systems (experience in architecting test benches is a strong advantage).
- Strong skills in Project Management and Configuration Management to ensure on-time delivery.
- Fluent in French and proficient in English, with excellent negotiation and presentation skills to align stakeholders.
- Strong team spirit, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Eligibility for electrical certification to work safely near live high-voltage sources.
