Test Development Engineer (Satellite Manufacturing) – Toulouse, France (On-site)

Are you a hands‑on engineer who enjoys building, testing, and debugging real hardware? We’re looking for a Test Engineer to support the validation of advanced guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems for next-generation aerospace platforms.
In this role, you’ll design and operate custom test environments for sensors and actuators, working at the intersection of electronics, software, and mechanical systems to ensure high‑reliability hardware meets performance requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and commission test benches and ground support equipment (GSE)
- Inspect and test electronic boards and assemblies, including debugging at board level
- Develop automated test software (data acquisition, processing, reporting)
- Create and execute formal test procedures from prototype through production
- Analyse and document results to support calibration and design validation
- Support integration and test campaigns , including environmental testing
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in hardware testing, validation, or AIT
- Strong hands‑on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)
- Ability to read schematics and debug PCB‑level issues
- Experience with Python and Linux‑based environments
- Familiarity with embedded platforms (e.g. Raspberry Pi, Arduino)
