Tender and Contracts Associate France is responsible for the preparation and submission of tenders, offers and contracts in both Public and Private healthcare sector working closely with the French Tender Lead and the EMEA Senior Tender and Contracts Manager, and the wider Commercial Operations Team including Strategic Pricing, and Data and Insights Senior Leaders. In addition, the selected candidate will work closely and hold strong relationships with Account Managers and Senior Sales and Marketing Managers. This position reports into Tenders and Contracts Lead France.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of tenders, and contracts for medical devices and services in a timely manner, according to the Company procedures, to the Customer specifications and inline the local French Procurement Regulations
- Ensure the tender pipeline in Sales Force is completed and kept up to date with reportable metrics
- Working closely with EMEA Commercial Operations team to ensure contract continuity and obligations are met through any post award activity
- Accurate and timely submission of all the assigned tasks, without exception resulting in best in class tender excellence
- Collaboration with the Sales Team to identify the best Customer proposal leveraging products, services and solutions available.
- Collaboration with all the functions in charge for the preparation of technical and administrative documents needed for tenders and contracts submission.
- Pro‑active benchmarking of tender and contract submissions to ensure best‑in‑class approach.
- Daily use of the software tools available for tenders/offers/contracts preparation and pricing management.
- Any other duties or projects as requested by the Line Manager EMEA Senior Manager Tender and Contracts including special projects and/or potential to support other European Markets
- Contribute to process improvements and tender best practices.
- Maintain standard content libraries and reusable materials inline with EMEA team
- Reporting of tender activities to Tenders and Contracts Lead France
Qualifications
- Experience working (minimum 2 years) within the medical devices environment and e‑procurement portals (PLACE, AWS, Maximilen); commercial awareness of the healthcare industry; knowledge and understanding of products, services, medical devices marketplace and the organisation/operation of GPO (GHT, UNIHA, RESAH…)
- Preferable background of studies or experience in Law, Tender Management or Public Administration, with knowledge of the French Tender regulations and types of procedures (AOO, MN, PA)
- Proven experience in developing and establishing successful key relationships and delivering excellent standards of customer service.
- Proven project management skills which demonstrate flexibility and ability to adjust to changing customer’s needs.
- Analytical problem solver, precise and attentive to details.
- Used to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
- Familiar with software tools like Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Familiar with Eurydice Web and Salesforce
- Knowledge of Oracle/Model N/Power BI software would be an asset.
- Fluency in English and French (verbal and written) is required
- Fluency in German or Dutch language would be an asset
