Tendering Specialist

We are hiring a Tender/Quotation Specialist to join our Local Tendering team. This role offers the chance to work on impactful projects in Grids and Power Quality Solutions, where technology meets purpose. How you can make an impact:

• Prepare competitive bids, estimates, and quotations for local projects.
• Ensure offers meet customer requirements and align with Hitachi Energy policies.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather technical and commercial inputs.
• Lead technical, financial, product management, and risk reviews for each bid.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to identify and qualify suppliers.
• Analyze customer needs and market trends to improve offer strategies.
• Support the development of new supplier partnerships and qualification processes.
• Identify and mitigate risks in bids and related contract agreements.
• Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the tendering process.
• Track and analyze tender outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tender documents.
• Promote a culture of safety, integrity, and collaboration.

Your background:

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering.
• More than 5 years of experience in Estimations and Tendering, working as Tender Quotation with Industrial Companies that offer Systems and Projects.
• Experience in leading and/or technically managing turnkey system projects (Electrical Package / EPC), involving multi-product solutions and requiring interdisciplinary coordination, would be appreciated.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
• Fluent English and French, both written and spoken.
