Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze incoming RFQs (Request For Quotation) from customers.
  • Ensure Eaton’s offer aligns technically with customer specifications.
  • Coordinate with sales, applications, consultants, product owners, and the wider tender team so that Eaton bids are compelling and give the customer confidence in the proposed offer.
  • Assist in preparation of costing as per standard process and tools.
  • Meet agreed timelines for tenders and keep stakeholders aware of progress and any constraints.
  • Perform technical risk and opportunity analysis.
  • At time of win, manage a smooth hand‑over to execution teams and support after if needed so that scope and works needed are clearly communicated.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Formal education or equivalent experience in automation for electrical systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering and design experience of electrical distribution systems for buildings.
  • Experience designing and/or installing automation systems for buildings or other infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with large‑scale commercial and industrial projects or UPS‑type backup power environments (e.g. data centers).

Skills

  • Automation knowledge (e.g. SCADA, other control systems) for design, configuration, and commissioning.
  • Proficiency in primary and secondary electrical power.
  • Familiarity with Eaton or similar industry product portfolios (switchgear, LV assemblies, UPS, etc.).
  • Strong technical problem‑solving skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving objectives and solving problems.
  • Excellent collaboration, interpersonal communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and drive alignment on technical designs.
  • Strong customer and people skills.
  • Fluent in English; intercultural awareness.
  • High level of personal integrity and ethics, commitment to “doing business right.”

Occasional (<30%) travel and on‑site visits (or support) to equipment sites for customer testing.
