A lovely French family is seeking an experienced and nurturing Night Maternity Nurse to care for their 7-week-old baby during their summer stay in the beautiful village of Biot on the French Riviera.

This is a night position, working 7pm to 7am, providing sole‑charge overnight care for the newborn while allowing the parents to rest. Although the family also has a two‑year‑old daughter, the role is focused exclusively on the baby.

The family has no language preference, and applications are welcomed from both French and English‑speaking candidates.

Duties

• Providing professional overnight care for a 7‑week‑old baby.
• Managing feeds, settling, changing and comforting throughout the night.
• Supporting healthy sleep routines appropriate to the baby’s age.
• Monitoring the baby’s wellbeing and maintaining excellent hygiene standards.
• Keeping the nursery and baby‑related items clean and organised.
• Offering reassurance and guidance to the parents where appropriate.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maternity Nurse or Newborn Care Specialist.
• Extensive knowledge of newborn development and infant care.
• Calm, discreet and professional with a gentle, nurturing approach.
• Up‑to‑date First Aid certification.
• Driver preferred.
• French or English speaking.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced maternity nurse seeking a summer placement with a welcoming family in a beautiful setting on the Côte d’Azur. Live‑in accommodation is available for candidates who would prefer to reside with the family during the assignment.
