The SAP Academy for Services & Consulting is a global development program designed for talent who are early in their career.
This pipeline helps us create a talent pool for multiple S&C Academy cohorts planned throughout the year.
Who You’ll become
As a Technology Consultant , you will help customers implement and adopt SAP solutions so they realize measurable business outcomes. In this early‑career role, you will support both solution delivery and post‑go‑live adoption across SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP BTP—applying AI‑enabled insights to accelerate enablement, release adoption, usage monitoring, and value realization.
You’ll develop skills in IT strategy, SAP technologies, cloud solutions, and AI, learning hands‑on through real projects with guidance from experienced consultants.
This role is a strong entry point into enterprise consulting, where you’ll help customers successfully implement and adopt solutions, use AI to improve outcomes, and grow your career in a collaborative, supportive team environment.
What you’ll do
- Successfully complete a structured 12‑month learn‑and‑apply academy program
- Participate in classroom learning, simulations, and real‑customer engagement scenarios
- Support solution implementation activities including fit‑to‑standard analysis, configuration, integration, testing, cutover, and go‑live using SAP Activate
- Assist in translating business requirements into functional and technical solution components under guidance
- Contribute to defining IT landscapes and integration points aligned with enterprise architecture principles
- Support post‑go‑live adoption activities, including enablement planning and release adoption
- Help monitor usage, consumption indicators, KPIs, and value realization metrics
- Contribute to Outcome Success Plans and track post‑deployment business impact
- Leverage AI‑enabled tools to enhance delivery quality, adoption insights, and documentation efficiency
- Collaborate with Customer Engagement Partners, Enterprise Architects, delivery teams, and partners to maintain alignment
- Learn and apply SAP methodologies, agile practices, and integrated toolchains to support high‑quality project execution
- Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery standards, knowledge assets, and customer experience

- Support customer relationships through consistent delivery quality, responsiveness, and professionalism
- Ensure disciplined execution, documentation, and follow‑up across implementation and adoption activities
- Provide clear and concise communications aligned to customer priorities and business outcomes.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain clarity of roles, responsibilities, and ownership
- Identify potential risks related to delivery or adoption and support mitigation planning
- Ensure alignment between customer objectives, SAP recommendations, and realized outcomes
- Uphold SAP standards for quality, governance, and engagement excellence
What You Bring
- 1–3 years of professional experience in technology, consulting, or related fields.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Customer‑focused mindset with interest in post‑sales adoption and value realization.
- Foundational knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), integration concepts/APIs, databases, and security basics.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Cloud or SAP BTP is a plus.
- Familiarity with a programming or scripting language (e.g., ABAP, Python, JavaScript, SQL) preferred.
- Demonstrated curiosity about AI/ML and automation, with interest in applying AI responsibly to improve delivery, enablement, and adoption outcomes.
- SAP coursework or certifications are a plus but not required.

About SAP Next Gen Academy for Services & Consulting
The Academy partners with SAP Customer Services & Delivery to support customers in their digital transformation, driving adoption and effective use of SAP software through planning, implementation, integration, and continuous improvement. The 12‑month SAP Next Gen Academy for Services & Consulting offers classroom learning and role‑focused rotations. It builds a strong foundation in consulting, project management, technical, and solution support to prepare you for success in Customer Services and delivery. Join us for a unique opportunity to build a global network, collaborate with customers to solve real business challenges, and gain hands‑on experience with world‑class cloud solutions — all while learning in a dynamic environment and earning competitive pay and benefits.
The program includes a practical and immersive portion, with participants spending approximately two weeks across one trip in San Ramon, California to provide hands‑on learning and networking opportunities. Participants are expected to be fully engaged during this phase, and vacation will not be approved during critical times of the program.
