We are looking for an experienced and practice-oriented person to strengthen our purchasing team. The focus is on ensuring operational purchasing in an industrial environment and further developing existing processes. Depending on experience, suitability and business needs, there is a possibility to take on additional coordination or team leadership tasks.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for operational purchasing (orders, schedule monitoring, dunning)
• Ensuring material availability in close collaboration with AVOR, production and logistics
• Close cooperation with AVOR, production and development on technical questions
• Active participation in day‑to‑day operations and support in bottleneck situations
• Maintenance and further development of supplier relationships
• Evaluation, qualification and further development of suppliers (quality, cost, delivery reliability)
• Conducting price and contract negotiations
• Further development of commodity group strategies in line with corporate objectives
• Claims management including returns
• Price, delivery and invoice control
• Organising transport and pickups
• Maintenance of item and supplier master data
• Optimising procurement processes
• Potential future assumption of coordination or team leadership tasks with suitable competence and need

Qualifications

• Technical basic training (e.g. electronics, mechatronics, mechanics) or commercial training with strong technical understanding
• Several years of experience in technical purchasing in an industrial setting (mandatory)
• Experience in purchasing technical components and assemblies (advantageous)
• Good knowledge of technical drawings and bill of materials (advantageous)
• High practical orientation and willingness to work actively in day‑to‑day operations
• Structured, reliable and resilient working style
• Negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Good ERP skills (ideally PSI Penta)
• Excellent German language skills, good English skills, Italian a plus
