TECHNICO-COMMERCIAL(E) TP
Job Purpose
Based on the activities assigned by his/her hierarchical superiors, the After‑Sales Inspector is responsible for after‑sales business development (business volume, margins, customer satisfaction, market share, etc.) and sales in his/her sector. He/she leads, monitors and develops the customer portfolio in his/her sector, based on the sales policy defined by management.
Significant Activities
- Ensure after‑sales sales development in your sector (customer visits, promotion of offers, advice on preventive fleet maintenance, etc.)
- Monitor the customer base to identify opportunities
- Identify after‑sales customer needs and propose an appropriate solution
- Advise customers on the maintenance of their fleet of machines and equipment
- Enter opportunities and actions (opportunity follow‑up, contract renewals, sales proposals, visit reports, etc.) into business tools
- Propose and negotiate after‑sales commercial offers, in collaboration with internal stakeholders (quotations, costings, bids, etc.)
- Monitor the competition to identify new opportunities (markets, customers, technologies, etc.), and pass on information to internal stakeholders
- Carry out equipment commissioning
- Ensure commercial follow‑up of contracted equipment
- Carry out equipment inspection visits and submit findings to customers
- Participate in non‑standard warranty agreements, in collaboration with the manufacturer(s) and customer(s)
- Deploy the digital offering and support customers
- Carry out expert appraisals of equipment for sales departments
- Ensure compliance with customer commitments (delivery, invoicing, etc.)
- Monitor outstanding invoices and support invoicing with internal stakeholders
- Address customer complaints to internal stakeholders (parts lead times, pricing, delivery, compliance, etc.)
- Contribute to the resolution of customer disputes and the collection of accounts receivable, in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Contribute to and participate in improving customer satisfaction, and handle customer feedback
- Update customer data in business tools (contacts, e‑mail addresses, customer base, etc.) and competitor data

Professional Knowledge
Diploma(s) and/or experience(s)
2 years' higher education in a technical or commercial field and/or significant experience preferred
Technical skill(s)
- General technical knowledge (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
- General commercial knowledge (customer relations, negotiation, sales)
- General knowledge of IT tools and information systems
- Advanced elementary English (A2)
