Resource Group is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Aircraft Structures Technician / Technicien Supérieur Chaudronnerie Aéronautique to join a well-established business aviation maintenance organisation in the Paris area.
This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced aircraft structures professional looking to take on a senior, hands-on position combining structural maintenance and repair with the coordination and supervision of maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft structural assembly and disassembly, including riveting, de-riveting, countersinking and fitting
- Manage and coordinate structural work packages within the hangar
- Organise and distribute work according to the skills and experience of team members
- Supervise technicians and external contractors assigned to structural projects
- Coordinate structural activities with mechanical and avionics teams
- Monitor project progress to ensure aircraft delivery deadlines are achieved
- Inspect and validate work performed by technicians and subcontractors
- Order required parts and materials
- Ensure structural repairs and maintenance activities are completed in accordance with applicable procedures and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate and compliant maintenance documentation
- Support the release of repaired removed components where applicable, including EASA Form 1 requirements
- Provide technical support to structures personnel when unexpected issues or difficulties arise
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and management regarding project progress, external supplier requirements and any issues that could affect aircraft delivery
Candidate Requirements
- Formal training as an Aircraft Structures / Sheet Metal Technician or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant aircraft structures experienceStrong practical knowledge of aircraft structural assembly, disassembly and fastening methods
- Good understanding of sheet metal and structural repair techniques
- Ability to work autonomously while also coordinating and supporting other technicians
- Previous experience supervising, leading or coordinating maintenance activities is highly desirable
- Technical English is essential, particularly the ability to work confidently with aircraft maintenance documentation, procedures and technical instructions
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work a rotating morning/evening shift pattern
- Driving licence required
- Strong attention to detail, flexibility and a rigorous approach to aircraft maintenance
- A B1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence would be an advantage but is not mandatory
Package
- 13th-month salary included and distributed across 12 monthly payments
- Additional €150 gross per month shift allowance for the morning/evening rotation
- Permanent employment
