Materials Characterization Technician – Night Shift (M/F)

Reporting to the TECH Lab group, within the Characterization team and under the responsibility of the TECH Lab Manager.
Main missions
You are in charge of the dimensional and structural characterization of LED materials and components. As such, you are involved at the heart of technological development and optimization activities, working closely with the epitaxy, process engineering and process integration teams.
Activities
- Organize and prioritize characterization requests while respecting deadlines.
- Prepare the samples (cross-sections, delayering, TEM slides…) using a FIB (Focused Ion Beam).
- Perform physical characterization analyses, particularly in electron microscopy (FIB, SEM).
- Process and analyze the data from the characterizations.
- Prepare and distribute reports according to the required formats.
Required profile
- Minimum Bac+2 level education (e.g., DUT in Physical Measurements).
- Minimum 5 years experience in semiconductor environment, metrology or materials characterization.
- Essential experience with FIB.
- Proficiency in characterization equipment (FIB, SEM).
- Professional English required.

Working conditions
- Night shift position during the week: 21:00pm – 5:15am.
- Work schedule: 4 weeks at 4 days and 1 week at 5 days.
- Laboratory and cleanroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Performing material characterizations and FIB/SEM imaging measurements.
- Strict adherence to hygiene, safety and environmental guidelines.
- Maintaining a clean and safe workstation.
Autonomy
You organize your work according to defined priorities, while respecting guidelines and best practices. You alert your superiors in case of deviations, difficulties, or failure to meet deadlines, and take the necessary initiatives within your area of responsibility.
