Technical Support Specialist

At Zaptec, we’re on a mission to make charging easy, smart and accessible for everyone. As we continue to grow across Europe, we’re now looking for a Technical Support Specialist to strengthen our presence in French-speaking markets.

In this role, you’ll be a key point of contact for our customers and partners, from installers and distributors to charging point operators. You’ll help them get the most out of our solutions, while building strong relationships and creating great experiences along the way.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across support, product, sales and marketing, both locally and at our headquarters in Norway, giving you a unique opportunity to influence how we support and scale in France, Belgium and Switzerland.

In your day to day, you will:

  • Support customers and partners through tickets, calls and other channels, ensuring quick, helpful and high-quality responses.
  • Build strong relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor for installers and partners.
  • Guide customers on best practices for installation, integrations and use of Zaptec solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales to support customers throughout their journey, from onboarding to long-term success.
  • Contribute to improving onboarding and support processes, making things smoother and more scalable.
  • Take a proactive approach to support, helping reduce recurring questions and improve the overall experience.

Beyond the day-to-day, you’ll also:

  • Support pre-sales activities with your technical insight.
  • Represent Zaptec at trade shows and events across your markets.
  • Share feedback and insights with product teams to help shape future solutions.

As for the skills required for this job

We know that great candidates don’t always tick every box, but we believe experience in some of the following areas will help you succeed in this role:

  • Technical support or similar customer-facing role.
  • Experience from EV charging, energy systems or electrical installations.
  • Understanding of low-voltage electrical systems is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to explain technical topics in a clear and simple way.
  • Experience working with support tools (e.g. ticketing or CRM systems).
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
