Role Description
The Technical Solutions & Service Engineer – France is a full-time, on-site role based in Amsterdam. This role focuses on providing technical support and troubleshooting for energy storage systems, working closely with local partners and customers. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving system issues, performing on‑site inspections, supporting system administration tasks, and coordinating with engineering teams on software and hardware-related challenges. The engineer will assist with system configuration, database-related inquiries, and documentation of technical procedures, while contributing to continuous improvement of service quality. The role also involves training customers and installers, collaborating with the French technical team, and ensuring solutions align with local market requirements and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose, analyze, and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess System Administration experience, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of energy storage or related systems.
- Candidates should possess Software Development and integration skills to understand system interfaces, firmware updates, and basic scripting or automation tasks.
- Candidates should possess Databases knowledge for handling system data, logs, and performance metrics, including querying and basic analysis.
- Relevant qualifications include a technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with energy storage technologies, safety standards, and grid-connected systems, along with strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Fluency in French and good working proficiency in English are highly desirable for collaboration with local and international teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Amsterdam, travel as needed, and operate safely in field environments is required.
