QuidelOrtho – Strasbourg:

For more than 25 years, our Center of Excellence based in Illkirch (Strasbourg area) has been a fundamental piece of the Ortho experience. We provide support to all of our customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Your new role:

In order to support our purpose and be part of a new transformation, we are looking for a new Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team. More than ever, Technical Support represents an increasing part of the offer made to the customer. As a member of the Technical Support Team you will have an impact on our customers providing remote support in the technical & diagnostic area, for our full range of Point of Care/Molecular, Transfusion Medicine, Clinical Laboratories medical laboratory products and automation. You will provide assistance and communicate with our customers via email and telephone.

What you'll be doing:

  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and manage customer chemistry, equipment and software complaints and inquiries in accordance with internal procedures and customers’ requirements.
  • Participation to on‑calls.
  • Maintain technical self‑competence, knowledge of company procedures, and customer‑related skills. Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Contribute to process improvements.
  • Attend meetings with affiliates, on‑site or via call.

The individual:

  • Educated as medical laboratory technologist, biomedical or technical background or in life sciences, possibly with some experience in customer relationship management or in a medical laboratory.
  • High degree in one of the following majors – Chemistry, Biology, Science, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering.
  • Computer networking skills would be a plus.
  • Willing to become an expert in new technologies.
  • Passionate about communication with people and customer focus.
  • Fluent Italian and French is mandatory, English is desirable.
