Technical Service Training Lead H/F
Role
The CSE-C Technical Service Training Lead is responsible for building and deploying Train‑the‑Trainer (TTT) programs for Carrier’s priority commercial equipment, with a strong focus on water‑cooled and air‑cooled systems, chillers and heat pumps. The role ensures that local trainers, master technicians and country champions are technically enabled to safely commission, service and troubleshoot Carrier’s most complex commercial systems, in line with business priorities, new product launches and service growth objectives. The trainer drives a continuous learning approach by monitoring and supporting trained populations over time, providing follow‑up coaching and refresher interventions as needed, and delivering ongoing technical mentorship to technicians in the field to secure sustained competence and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Train‑the‑Trainer (TTT) programs to country trainers and technical champions across Europe.
- Certify trainers on priority HVAC technologies to ensure successful local deployment and knowledge transfer.
- Serve as the technical expert and escalation point for complex service and application‑related topics.
- Support commissioning, pilot projects and first‑of‑kind installations to ensure successful market introduction.
- Gather field insights and feedback to continuously improve training effectiveness and technical capability.
- Develop and review training materials, including trainer guides, commissioning procedures, troubleshooting tools and technical case studies.
- Ensure training content remains technically accurate, aligned with field realities and reflects product evolution.
- Collaborate closely with Service Academies, Product Management, Engineering, Quality and Service Operations to strengthen technical competencies across the organization.
Profile Required
Significant hands‑on experience in HVAC service and applications, with strong expertise in water‑cooled and air‑cooled chillers and heat pumps. In‑depth knowledge of compressor technologies, including screw, centrifugal and scroll compressors. Proven expertise in controls, commissioning, diagnostics and system optimization, including communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet and CCN. Strong technical credibility, with the ability to engage experienced technicians and engineers while translating complex concepts into clear, practical learning. Experience in technical training, coaching, mentoring or knowledge transfer within a service or engineering environment. Solid understanding of large‑scale HVAC applications across commercial, industrial, district energy and critical cooling environments. Experience working within an international or multi‑country environment is a strong asset. Fluency in French and English is required.
